Born and raised in the wild Pacific Northwest but educated at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BFA, 2005). I’ve been dabbling in a variety of design disciplines for as long as I remember. I love drawing and printmaking, I’m constantly trying to build my knowledge base in the ever-expanding web technology field, and venture into the social media realm (Like me on Facebook).

Web Design
Nowadays, your website is the face of your company. Sometimes the majority of your customer interaction will take place through your site. I work hard to ensure your web presence reflects the best parts of who you are as a business or individual. This is done through effective use of branding, accessibility of content and ease of use for all ages, and a fresh visual aesthetic that engages the viewers. I’m an HTML and CSS ace, I use some scripting to liven things up, and I’m always looking for (and utilizing) new techniques to improve the user experience.
Print Design
Print is classic, and still very effective. The process is different and some of the strategies are different, but I have extensive experience in print design, layout, and even the actual printing. Editorial, advertising, business cards, billboards – you name it, I’ll make it happen.
CMS Theming
A Content Management System really makes things easier for the people who will be adding and changing content on the site. I can get you set up lickety split! Drupal and WordPress are my specialties, but I’ve messed around with other platforms too. This site was built using WordPress, in case you were wondering.
Illustration
I’ve been drawing, doodling, printing and painting since I was a wee lad, and I even went to Fine Arts school to make it official! At SAIC I was trained in a wide variety of illustration styles, media, and techniques. I love tackling illustration challenges, so if you’d like my unique brand of awesomeness in your next project, look me up!
